The 2019 vintage reveals an intense bouquet of blackberry, blackcurrant, and black plum, enhanced by notes of violet, graphite, liquorice, cocoa, and delicate spices. Oak ageing is seamlessly integrated, adding complexity and depth without overshadowing the fruit.

Located at the highest point of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Troplong Mondot enjoys an exceptional clay-limestone terroir. This historic vineyard is renowned for producing wines of remarkable depth, combining richness, freshness, and precision.

Classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé B, the estate ranks among the most prestigious properties in Saint-Émilion. The vineyard is planted predominantly with Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, resulting in wines that are both powerful and elegant.

Since 2017, the château has been owned by the French insurance group SCOR, which has continued the significant investments made to fully unlock the estate’s potential. Meticulous vineyard management, rigorous parcel selection, and precise winemaking ensure a faithful expression of this unique terroir.
