This wine was created in 1928 by el “marchese” Niccolo Antinori created the IGT, produced with the selection of the best grapes of the Villa Antinori property, the design of the label has remained almost unchanged since its origins with slight modifications in 1990 and 2001. Intense ruby red in color, it presents aromas of forest fruits reminiscent of blueberries and blackberries with hints of vanilla from the vinification in oak barrels. On the palate it is well constituted and with soft tannins, the end is long leaving us with touches of berries in the mouth. It is obviously a good wine that can accompany tasty meats such as lamb, furred and feathered game, red meats, various grilled meats, pasta in general, Mediterranean, Asian and Latin American cuisine, cheeses such as brie or parmesan.
