The latter is due to the mosaic of varied terroirs from which the grand vin is made: these 53 precious hectares known as &#8220;le Clos&#8221; to the north of Saint-Julien, adjacent to Ch\u00e2teau Latour, are in fact dedicated to the production of the Cru Class\u00e9. Jean-Hubert Delon has been the sole owner of the vineyard since 2011. He has entrusted its management to Pierre Graffeuille.<\/p>\n<p>Made from a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon (64%), the wine of L\u00e9oville Las Cases always boasts a very dark, inky color, characteristic of the cru.
