The vineyards of Ch\u00e2teau Lynch Bages, which extend over some one hundred hectares to the south and south-west of the town of Pauillac, benefit from these conditions, which enable the grape varieties to reach optimum ripeness while preserving the finesse and elegance that characterize the terroir.<\/p>\n

From a geological point of view, Lynch-Bages’ soils are homogeneous, essentially made up of deep Garonne gravel, resulting from the slow erosion of the Pyrenees by the Garonne River. Hyper-draining, these soils of pebbles and sands accumulate heat during the day and release it at night. Poor and not very fertile, they contribute to moderate growth and deep rooting of the vines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
