The 2020 Clarice is an elegant and structured red wine from the Dario di Vaira estate, located in Bolgheri, Tuscany. This Bolgheri Rosso DOC is a blend dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and a touch of Petit Verdot. The organically cultivated vines benefit from a unique terroir combining gravelly soils and proximity to the sea, giving the wine a distinctly Mediterranean character.

The color is an intense ruby red. The nose offers a beautiful aromatic intensity combining ripe black fruits, sweet spices, balsamic notes, and an elegant oaky touch. On the palate, the wine reveals a ripe but still somewhat young substance, very smooth, carried by melted tannins and a precise profile combining black fruits and touches of graphite. The finish is long and harmonious, with a beautiful persistence.
