This Bandol rosé, a skillful blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Grenache, embodies the gastronomic excellence of Provence. It immediately seduces with its delicate aromas of white peach, apricot, and citrus (grapefruit or blood orange), accompanied by floral and delicate spice nuances, with a saline and herbaceous hint that reveals its Bandol terroir. This indulgent yet structured rosé (with an unexpected density for a rosé) is considered a true gastronomic wine. Critics highlight its exceptional quality and finesse: “a rosé of character… silky texture with perfect balance.”
Long cited as one of the best Bandol rosés.
Founded in 1997 by Alain Pascal, Domaine du Gros Noré bears the affectionate nickname of his father, Honoré, in homage to the family tradition and his love of working the vineyard. Nestled on the heights of La Cadière-d’Azur, the estate covers around twenty hectares exposed to the mistral wind and bathed in Mediterranean light. The clay-limestone soils and maritime climate give the wines a powerful yet elegant expression.
