Château Reynon’s white wine is a fresh and vibrant wine with aromas of citrus and green apple.
This Bordeaux Sauvignon is ideal as an aperitif or with a seafood platter; it will also delight with a delicious grilled fish.
Château Reynon, in Béguey in the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux region, was purchased in 1958 by Florence Dubourdieu’s father, Jacques David; his daughter and son-in-law, Denis Dubourdieu, succeeded him in 1976.
Thanks to their efforts, Château Reynon is today one of the most renowned Premieres Côtes de Bordeaux wines.
Harvesting is generally carried out manually, usually all at once, and if necessary, by two successive sortings of golden grapes that have reached their optimum aromatics.
After a possible skin maceration phase, the juice is slowly extracted, protected from oxidation. The free-run musts are strictly separated from the press musts, and they are clarified by natural sedimentation.
Fermentation takes place in vats. Aging is carried out on lees for 5 to 7 months until bottling.
