Located on the left bank of the Rhône, the Crozes-Hermitage appellation is renowned for its expressive Syrahs that combine finesse and character. “Les Jalets” reveals an intense nose of black fruits, violet, and black pepper, with a subtle hint of licorice. The palate is fresh, supple, and balanced, supported by an elegant tannic structure and a persistent finish. Vinified with precision to reveal the purity of the grape variety and the uniqueness of the terroir, this wine embodies all the typicity of the northern Rhône Valley. It pairs ideally with grilled beef, duck breast, or roasted vegetables with herbs.
Founded in 1834 on the Hermitage hill in Tain-l’Hermitage, the Paul Jaboulet Aîné estate oversees an exceptional winemaking heritage, bringing together the most renowned terroirs of the northern Rhône Valley. Today, it oversees 105 hectares of vineyards, stretching from Cornas to Côte-Rôtie, in the heart of the most prestigious appellations of the northern Rhône Valley.
Thanks to precise vinification and meticulous work in the vineyards, the estate crafts tailor-made vintages that accurately express the richness and diversity of their terroirs of origin. Since 2016, all of its wines have been certified organic, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and respect for the environment.
Paul Jaboulet Aîné thus embodies the quintessence of the great wines of the Rhône Valley, between tradition, high standards and excellence.
