Fruity
Made from the Petit Manseng grape variety, this sweet wine is harvested at peak ripeness on the steep slopes of Jurançon. The nose reveals aromas of pineapple, mango, honey, and sweet spices. On the palate, the richness of the sugar is balanced by a lively and refreshing acidity. The texture is smooth, but never heavy. The finish is long and saline, driven by the minerality of the soil. This wine pairs perfectly with foie gras or a fruity dessert, or can be enjoyed on its own. Precise and natural aging. A vibrant and luminous sweet wine. The Dagueneau spirit applied to the Southwest.
Domaine Didier Dagueneau – The Sauvignon Blanc Elite
Nestled in Saint-Andelain, this family estate is a Pouilly-Fumé legend. A visionary and perfectionist, Didier Dagueneau elevated Sauvignon Blanc to the heights of purity and expression. Since 2008, his son Louis-Benjamin has continued the legacy with an equally precise and bold style.
Each plot is vinified separately, yields are low, and aging is done in custom-made barrels. The flint terroir gives the wines a sharp minerality and incredible longevity. Cuvées such as “Silex,” “Pur Sang,” and “Buisson Renard” have achieved cult status.
The estate’s wines combine intensity, finesse, and energy, and are among the greatest dry whites in the world. A true signature of the terroir, born from exceptionally demanding craftsmanship.
