Barbera d’Alba comes from the vineyards of the Prunotto dei Marchesi Antinori estate, located in the heart of the Barbera d’Alba DOC.
It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C for 5-7 days. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine rests for a few months in the bottle before being put on the market.
This Barbera d’Alba from Antinori is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with a pleasant bouquet of flowers and ripe fruit, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is ample, harmonious and round.
This red wine is perfect to accompany fried foods and stewed meats.
