Mysterious, magical, and with a rare ability to age. A powerful and refined vintage with deep flavors. Fine tannins and a well-integrated aromatic freshness, with an intense finish!
Marlène Soria’s work is unique in Languedoc. Her wines are inseparable from the will and charisma of their creator. Mysterious, magical, and sometimes inexplicable, they impose a stylistic unity and a rare capacity for aging, especially the whites, true UFOs for the region.
The Oro cuvée, made from Rolle, Roussanne, and Viognier, aged for nearly ten years in vats and bottles and originating from the heights of Saint-Pargoire since the early 1990s, is part of a production as limited as it is sought-after. The reds, on the other hand, display fairly tight, even harsh, palate structures. Dominated by a solar Syrah from very low yields, they are aged for a long time in the cellar to civilize their tannins (a minimum of two years in vats, followed by an equal amount of rest in the bottle).
