In addition to its highly qualitative gravel terroir, this Cru Classé, so dear to the hearts of lovers of great Médoc wines, bases its success on the exacting standards set by the owners, oenologist Caroline Frey and her family. Certified organic since the 2016 vintage, the 80 hectares of vines are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), and include a significant proportion of Petit Verdot (10%). Both dense and silky, with plenty of freshness, Château La Lagune wines boast a superb, taut profile, full of finesse.
