Ramos Pinto Porto Vintage 2017 Quinta de Ervamoira

In the Douro region and Quinta de Ervamoira, the 2016-2017 wine year was very dry, with no significant rainfall from May onwards. Fruit set occurred almost a week earlier and the whole cycle was early. In 2017, the harvests in the two sub-regions where the Ramos Pinto quintas are located, which do not normally start at the same time, began almost simultaneously, and much earlier than usual. The health of the grapes was ideal and yields, due to high concentration, were low. The profile of the 2017 harvest is ripe, rich and fragrant.
