In this year of extremes, the vines of Cos d’Estournel Blanc, thanks in particular to ever deeper rooting and their adaptation to the terroir, held up surprisingly well, showing no sign of water stress.
The Sauvignon Blancs are particularly favored, with a concentration and richness never seen before, and the Sémillons are even more expressive than usual, thus confirming our decision to grant them a greater share in the blend. .
Rich and complex, Cos d’Estournel Blanc 2019 is marked by aromas of jasmine and grapefruit mixed with its usual iodized frame. Straightforward and sophisticated, it is a wine destined for great longevity.
