Cheval des Andes, an Argentine Grand Cru, is the fruit of two cultures: the vision and know-how of Château Cheval Blanc, and the viticulture of the Mendoza region, where Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot are blended in a demanding climate at the foot of the Cordillera.

“Generous and expressive on the nose, with notes reminiscent of ripe red fruits such as cherries, plums and blackcurrants, combined with hints of spice, black pepper and violets.On the palate, it starts sumptuously rich and full-bodied. Powerful, refined tannins contribute to the wine’s structure. The finish marks a return to red and stone fruit aromas with spicy nuances. Cheval des Andes 2020, born of a warm Mendoza harvest, retains its fresh, elegant identity and great ageing potential.”
