Grenache brings a fruity touch, Cinsault contributes to the finesse of the wine, Carignan gives it its acidity while the Mourvèdre grape variety gives the wine its backbone and structure.
Founded in 1997 by Alain Pascal, Domaine du Gros Noré bears the affectionate nickname of his father, Honoré, in homage to the family tradition and his love of working the vineyard. Nestled on the heights of La Cadière-d’Azur, the estate covers around twenty hectares exposed to the mistral wind and bathed in Mediterranean light. The clay-limestone soils and maritime climate give the wines a powerful yet elegant expression.
