The nose is intense, blending black cherry, tar, leather, spices, and white truffle. On the palate, the wine is structured and complex, with lively acidity and powerful yet elegant tannins. It will benefit from several years of aging to reveal its full depth. Decant young or allow to wait patiently in the cellar. Ideal with rich dishes such as ossobuco, roast beef, or polenta with porcini mushrooms.

Langhe, Monferrato, Roero – Piedmontese heritage enhanced by Antinori

In the northwest of Italy, between gentle hills, morning mists, and clay-limestone soils, Piedmont stands out as a major wine-growing region, the cradle of noble grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. It was here, in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe region, that the Antinori family acquired the prestigious Prunotto winery, founded in 1904, to perpetuate the excellence and finesse of great Piedmontese wines.
