Considered the second wine of the legendary Cervaro della Sala, Bramìto is a pure Chardonnay, vinified partly in barrels to gain complexity. It reveals a seductive bouquet of green apple, light vanilla, and fresh hazelnut. On the palate, it combines liveliness, smoothness, and a beautiful mineral tension, typical of the estate’s limestone soils. Accessible even in its youth, Bramìto asserts a beautiful personality with finesse.
In the heart of the green hills of Umbria, about twenty kilometers from Orvieto, stands the majestic Castello della Sala, owned by the Antinori family since 1940. Surrounded by 200 hectares of vineyards, this 14th-century medieval castle is the cradle of the great white wines of the Antinori house. Situated at an altitude of 400 to 500 meters, the vineyard benefits from a cool climate with pronounced nights and clay-limestone soils rich in marine fossils—ideal conditions for producing wines that are elegant, complex, and naturally fresh.
The Castello della Sala estate embodies the harmonious blend of ancestral tradition and oenological innovation, with particular attention paid to noble grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Grechetto, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir. Each wine expresses the uniqueness of this discreet yet highly noble Umbrian terroir.
