This great Castillon wine offers a deep purple color and a complex nose of ripe red fruits, cedar, and sweet spices.

On the palate, it presents notes of candied fruit, dried figs, and currants, marked by their delicacy despite the sensation of great ripeness. The tannins are present but very velvety.

A family property for over six centuries, Château de Pitray overlooks the Dordogne Valley from its elegant 15th-century charterhouse.

Nina Mitjaville and Jean de Boigne have been working together since the 2020 vintage.
