Château Haut-Saint-Georges is an iconic estate of the Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, located on the right bank of the Dordogne. With 19 to 22 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Merlot, the estate produces rich and balanced wines that combine depth and elegance.
The vineyard benefits from iron-rich gravel and clay-limestone soils, providing structure and complexity to the grapes. Aging for 18 months in new Radoux barrels enhances the fruity and oaky aromas, resulting in a velvety, deep palate with notes of ripe black fruit and truffle, and a delicately aniseed finish.
The estate is committed to responsible environmental practices, holding HVE 3 certification since the 2020 vintage, ensuring respect for biodiversity and sustainable viticulture.
Château Haut-Saint-Georges thus produces wines that are both powerful and refined, perfect for pairing with red meats, game, duck, wild mushrooms, and sauced dishes.
