A light and supple red, composed primarily of Pinot Noir with a touch of Gamay. The bouquet evokes cherry, raspberry, and a hint of pepper. The palate is fluid and fresh, with very fine tannins and crisp fruit. Perfect for simple meals, charcuterie, roast poultry, or even slightly chilled in summer. This wine seduces with its frankness and approachability. Drink young, with fruit. A light and friendly Loire red.
Located in Cour-Cheverny, in the heart of the Loire Valley, the Caves Bellier family estate has been cultivating vines for several generations. The property covers around thirty hectares spread between the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny appellations, on sandy-clay and limestone soils. The house’s style is based on the freshness, finesse, and purity of expression of Loire grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Romorantin. The vineyard is managed sustainably, with great respect for the environment and the fruit. Caves Bellier offers accessible, honest vintages that are highly representative of their terroir. A great place to discover to explore appellations that are still relatively unknown but full of character.
