Paul Jaboulet Aîné’s Condrieu “Domaine des Grands Amandiers” white is an exceptional cuvée from the Condrieu appellation, nestled in the northern Rhône Valley.

This 100% Viognier wine is grown on small, steep terraces called “chalais,” carefully held in place by drystone walls, characteristic of the granite terroir. The vines, planted in 1993, benefit from ideal exposure that promotes perfect ripeness and remarkable aromatic concentration.

This elegant and structured Condrieu offers a delicate harmony between aromatic richness and mineral freshness. On the nose, it reveals complex aromas of white flowers, white-fleshed fruits, peach, and citrus, accompanied by subtle notes of almond. On the palate, it seduces with its roundness, silky texture, and balanced liveliness, with a long, fresh finish.

This wine accurately reflects the rigorous know-how of Paul Jaboulet Aîné as well as the unique character of the Condrieu terroir, and goes perfectly with fish, shellfish, poultry and dishes with delicate flavors.
