The color is pale gold, brilliant. The nose is intense, deep, with notes of citrus peel, grapefruit, sun-baked stone and sea spray.
Created in the 19th century, Mas Cristine is located on the southern edge of the Côtes du Roussillon AOC. It boasts an ideal location overlooking the sea, surrounded by cork oaks. The soils are composed of a mixture of schist, quartz, and red clay. Established since 1810, the estate boasts magnificent vines of Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Muscat. Yields never exceed 30 hl/ha.
The color is pale gold and brilliant. The nose is intense and deep, with notes of citrus peel, grapefruit, sun-baked stone, and sea spray. The palate combines fullness and tension, with a soft, airy texture and crystalline purity. The balance is remarkable for a southern white. The finish is marked by the bitterness of the citrus peel but also these iodized, marine notes, extending into the saline.
