From the iconic Château de Gassac estate, the 2021 vintage reflects the full excellence of the Languedoc terroir. Made primarily from Mediterranean red grape varieties and sometimes complemented by rarer grapes, it reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruits, soft spices, and delicate floral notes.
On the palate, the wine is elegant, structured, and perfectly balanced, with fine tannins and a long finish that extends the tasting pleasure. The 2021 vintage confirms the estate’s ability to produce deep, harmonious wines of great finesse.
The Château de Gassac estate, founded in the Hérault Valley, is one of the most iconic in the Languedoc. Known as the “Lafite of the Languedoc,” it benefits from a unique terroir composed of limestone and clay-silica soils, exposed to a Mediterranean climate that favors optimal grape ripening.
A pioneer in the region, the estate combines traditional winemaking expertise with modern viticulture methods, emphasizing biodiversity and respect for the environment. This approach allows the production of elegant, complex wines with great aging potential, internationally recognized for their finesse and balance.
