Opulent Margaux, presenting aromas of black fruits, vanilla and mocha, with a rich palate and a long finish.
Château Lascombes, one of the most prestigious vineyards in Margaux, benefits from a high-quality gravelly terroir, located on a raised ridge, providing excellent drainage and ideal exposure for the vines. This diverse terroir, made up of clayey gravel and limestone, provides perfect conditions for producing rich and complex wines. The estate, which covers approximately 84 hectares, is divided into several plots carefully adapted to the different grape varieties.
The grape varieties at Château Lascombes are largely Merlot (50%), which provides roundness and fruitiness, while Cabernet Sauvignon (45%) dominates for its structure and complexity. Petit Verdot (5%) is used in small quantities to add color and spicy notes. The style of the wines is marked by an impressive intensity, elegance, and longevity, characteristic of the finest Margaux vintages.
