Located in the south of the Côte de Nuits, the Procès climat is one of the most confidential and refined lieux-dits of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Joseph Drouhin’s Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “Procès” is distinguished by an intense bouquet of ripe black fruits, violet, licorice, and light woody notes. On the palate, it reveals beautiful density, fine, silky tannins, and a perfectly integrated freshness, leading to a long, precise, and distinguished finish. The aging in oak barrels, carried out with the finesse characteristic of Maison Drouhin, highlights the purity of the Pinot Noir and the uniqueness of this terroir. This characterful wine will ideally accompany a piece of roast beef, duck breast, or mature cheeses.
