This 2019 vintage is composed of 100% Merlot, grown on this unique clay-gravel terroir, carefully vinified to express finesse, richness, and tension.
The long aging process highlights the pure fruit, fine spices, and floral aromas while maintaining beautiful freshness, structure, and aging potential.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Crushed blackberry, intense blackcurrant, subtle strawberry, blue berries; hints of licorice, lilac, vanilla; Sweet spices.
Palate: Rich fruit, beautiful juiciness, balance between tannic structure and lively acidity; aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, some raspberry and floral notes, finesse, great length.

Château Sacré Cœur, a prestigious cuvée from the Janoueix family, is planted on a very small 1.5-hectare terroir located on the magnificent Château La Croix plateau in Pomerol.
Right next to Château La Croix Saint-Georges, this exceptional plot combines deep gravel and fine sand, promoting perfect ripeness of the Merlot while maintaining a lively aromatic complexity.

A prestigious environment, as the majestic neighbors include Le Pin, Pétrus, and Petit Village. This micro-production format, producing only 3,000 to 5,000 bottles per year, is characterized by a perfectionist approach in every detail.
