This white Port seduces with its freshness and lightness while retaining the characteristic elegance of the Ramos Pinto house. The nose opens with notes of apricot, orange blossom, and acacia honey. On the palate, the fruity sweetness is balanced with a fine acidity that gives it a refreshing boost. The silky texture is accompanied by a hint of almond and dried fruit.
Its off-dry style makes it ideal as an aperitif, served chilled or in a cocktail with a dash of tonic. The aromatic expression remains pure, luminous, and always perfectly balanced. The finish reveals a saline and slightly lemony touch. This charming white Port embodies the conviviality and precision of the Ramos Pinto style. It combines accessibility and finesse, while expressing the Douro sunshine. A great classic for immediate pleasure.
Founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto, the eponymous house has been a pillar of Port excellence for over a century. Located in the historic heart of Vila Nova de Gaia, it combines Douro tradition with an artistic and avant-garde vision. Its emblematic vineyards – Quinta da Ervamoira and Quinta do Bom Retiro – stretch across sun-drenched schist slopes, producing grapes of exceptional concentration and purity.
The house’s philosophy is based on a balance between innovation and respect for the terroir: manual harvesting, vinification by grape variety, and meticulous aging in Gaia’s century-old cellars. Each Ramos Pinto Port expresses a unique, precise, and harmonious style, where natural sweetness combines with a rare structural elegance.
From luminous white to time-honored Tawny, from fiery Ruby to majestic Vintage, the wines all bear the Ramos Pinto signature: finesse, aromatic complexity, and crystalline length. The house was also a pioneer in developing the Ervamoira terroir, the first quinta in the Douro to practice sustainable and integrated viticulture.
Today, Ramos Pinto embodies the soul of modern Port—a subtle marriage of power, refinement, and authenticity—and remains one of the undisputed benchmarks in Portuguese winemaking.
