Les Aubaguetes, meaning “The Shades,” refers to these plots where sunlight penetrates less intensely. The wine comes from the eponymous estate located in Bellmunt del Priorat, on a north-facing plot, bathed in the sea breeze. This orientation allows it to achieve perfect balance, thanks to the coolness coming from the north.
This exceptional vineyard, composed of old vines over 110 years old, grows on soils dominated by llicorella—the siliceous slate typical of Priorat—and is cultivated according to organic farming principles.
