Château Larmande is an elegant red wine from the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé appellation, made primarily from 65% Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). It offers a deep ruby color and an expressive nose of ripe red fruits, black cherry, graphite, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it has a fine tannic structure, beautiful freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.
One of the oldest estates in Saint-Émilion, Château Larmande appears in archives as far back as the 16th century. Located a short walk from the village, the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir combining clay, sand, and gravel, ideal for expressing all the finesse of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A Grand Cru Classé since the very first classification in 1955, Larmande cultivates a balance between historical heritage and modernity, in a spirit of respect for life and precision. A place where Bordeaux’s history continues to be written vintage after vintage.
