Château du Trignon’s Vacqueyras is a rich and generous wine that delicately expresses the authenticity of this exceptional Provençal terroir. This blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre offers a complex and powerful nose, combining aromas of ripe black fruits, licorice, spices, and hints of garrigue typical of the region. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a lovely freshness that balances the richness of the flavors. Aging in oak barrels enhances this Vacqueyras, giving it slightly woody notes and added depth. This wine is ideal with dishes in sauce, grilled meats, or mature cheeses, and offers excellent aging potential.
Château du Trignon is an iconic estate in the Rhône Valley, run by the Quiot family, a historic name in the region since 1748. Faithful to a deep commitment to authentic and responsible winemaking, the family continues today, with the thirteenth generation (Florence and Jean-Baptiste), a tradition of quality that is spread across ten estates in the southern Rhône and Provence. Their philosophy is based on environmentally friendly viticulture, artisanal know-how and complete control of production “from vine to glass”. The vines of Château du Trignon, planted on clay-limestone soils dotted with rolled pebbles, are cultivated with respect for this precious heritage. The estate’s wines, a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, are distinguished by their power, aromatic complexity and great finesse, offering a true expression of the Gigondas terroir.
