This 100% Sauvignon Blanc cuvée comes from several plots located around Saint-Andelain, on clay-siliceous soils. On the nose, it reveals aromas of lime, grapefruit, white peach, and a subtle smoky touch typical of the terroir. On the palate, the balance is superb between the mineral tension and the roundness of the fruit. The texture is supple and energetic, with a lively and mouth-watering finish. Aged in large barrels, this cuvée retains a beautiful purity of expression. Available now, it will also evolve positively over a few years. A perfect introduction to the Dagueneau style. Ideal with grilled fish, seafood, or mature cheeses. A vibrant and precise Sauvignon.

Nestled in Saint-Andelain, this family estate is a Pouilly-Fumé legend. A visionary and perfectionist, Didier Dagueneau raised Sauvignon Blanc to the heights of purity and expression. Since 2008, his son Louis-Benjamin has continued the legacy with an equally precise and bold style.

Each plot is vinified separately, yields are low, and aging takes place in custom-made barrels. The flint terroir gives the wines a sharp minerality and incredible longevity. Vintages such as “Silex,” “Pur Sang,” and “Buisson Renard” have become cult classics.

The estate’s wines combine intensity, finesse, and energy, and are among the greatest dry whites in the world. A true signature of the terroir, born from exceptionally demanding craftsmanship.
