Domaine Louis Benjamin Dagueneau – XXI
Vin de France
An exceptional white wine from the Loire, powerful and refined, revealing intense aromas of ripe white fruits, citrus, and subtle mineral notes.
On the palate, it impresses with its generous structure, liveliness, and perfect balance between freshness and complexity, finishing long and elegant.
Ideal with premium fish, seafood, or refined dishes, it is also delightful on its own to fully appreciate its precision and depth.
An iconic wine from Louis Benjamin, son of Didier Dagueneau, symbolizing the craftsmanship and excellence of Pouilly-Fumé.
Didier Dagueneau transformed Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc, giving it a much more precise and pure expression of the terroir. He introduced highly rigorous vineyard practices, late harvests, and extreme attention during vinification to reveal the grape’s minerality, complexity, and finesse.
A Sauvignon Blanc, the XXI 2021 cuvée is a special, limited edition, as the vintage was heavily impacted by frost, drastically reducing the harvest. Louis‑Benjamin Dagueneau blended all available grapes into a single unique cuvée, making this wine rare and exceptional.
As a result, there will be no Pur Sang or Silex in 2021.
Domaine Didier Dagueneau – The Sauvignon Blanc Elite
Nestled in Saint-Andelain, this family estate is a Pouilly-Fumé legend. A visionary and perfectionist, Didier Dagueneau elevated Sauvignon Blanc to the heights of purity and expression. Since 2008, his son Louis-Benjamin has continued the legacy with an equally precise and bold style.
Each plot is vinified separately, yields are low, and aging is done in custom-made barrels. The flint terroir gives the wines a sharp minerality and incredible longevity. Cuvées such as “Silex,” “Pur Sang,” and “Buisson Renard” have achieved cult status.
The estate’s wines combine intensity, finesse, and energy, and are among the greatest dry whites in the world. A true signature of the terroir, born from exceptionally demanding craftsmanship.
