An agricultural engineer, Philippe Gard first worked at the Chamber of Agriculture of Auxerre, then at that of Bordeaux. But his passion is the vine, and he ended up settling with Nathalie in 1998 in Cosprons, near the cove of Paulilles, where he now operates 15 ha in terraces. He launched his Coume del Mas label in 2001. Intense and refined, his Banyuls like his Collioure immediately caused a sensation.
