Located in Léognan, close to Château Haut-Bailly, Château Larrivet Haut Brion is an extremely high-quality estate, especially since Bruno Lemoine took over management in 2007. The vineyard is owned by Philippe Gervoson, owner of the Andros group (compotes), who has invested in renovating the technical facilities, which are now state-of-the-art. The vineyard covers 72 hectares, 10 of which are devoted to white wines. Stéphane Derenoncourt advises the château on vinification.
The dominant red grape variety is Merlot (55%), which produces highly aromatic, juicy and supple wines in their youth.
