A blend resulting from a rigorous selection from two emblematic estates — Quinta de Ervamoira in the Douro Superior and Quinta do Bom Retiro in the Cima Corgo — with particular attention to the old vines of the Vinha do Rio. An extremely rare double launch, the first since 1994.

Tasting Notes

Dark and deep wine with dazzling violet reflections at the rim. A beautifully complex nose of concentrated black fruits — blackberry, black plum, blueberry and blackcurrant — with floral violet notes and spicy hints of white and black pepper. Subtle balsamic nuances add depth and the signature of the Douro terroir. Fresh and precise palate, underpinned by a structured acidity, fine tannins and a long, persistent finish.

The purest and most single-parcel expression of the Ramos Pinto House, sourced exclusively from Quinta de Ervamoira, the jewel of the Douro Superior. This Vintage celebrates both the 50th anniversary of the Quinta and the 30th anniversary of the first Single Quinta Vintage launched in 1994.

Tasting Notes

Deep red colour, opaque at the centre, with purple reflections glistening at the rim. A nose of purity and vibrancy characteristic of the Douro Superior: wild red fruits — raspberry, redcurrant, black cherry — with deeper tones of plum and ripe blackcurrant. Vibrant and structured palate, long and persistent finish with an almost ethereal lightness.
