Chinon Blanc Domaine Hérault 2023 is a dry white wine made from Chenin Blanc, the emblematic grape variety of the Loire Valley. It offers an elegant nose with aromas of white fruits, fresh flowers and a delicate hint of honey.
On the palate, the wine is well balanced, driven by a refreshing character and a precise structure that adds depth. The clean and persistent finish extends the pleasure with finesse.
This is a versatile wine, ideal as an aperitif, but also an excellent match with fish, seafood or light dishes.
Domaine Hérault is located in Panzoult, in the heart of the Chinon appellation, in the Loire Valley. A family-owned estate since 1964, it has gradually grown to around 26 hectares of vineyards, now managed by Éric Hérault, representing the second generation.
Situated on typical clay-limestone soils of the region, the vineyard benefits from an environment that is well suited to expressing Loire grape varieties. The estate mainly works with Cabernet Franc for its red and rosé wines, while also producing a more confidential white cuvée made from Chenin Blanc.
The philosophy of the estate is based on a simple approach, closely tied to the terroir, with approachable, fruit-driven and well-balanced wines that reflect the authentic character of Chinon.
