Second Wine of Château Lynch-Bages

Echo de Lynch-Bages 2021 is the second wine of the renowned Château Lynch-Bages, a Grand Cru Classé from Pauillac. It elegantly expresses the character of the Pauillac terroir while offering a more accessible and approachable style than its prestigious elder sibling.

On the nose, it reveals aromas of red and black fruit, complemented by notes of blackcurrant, spices and subtle oak. On the palate, the wine is precise and well-balanced, with lovely freshness, fine tannins and an elegant structure. The finish is fresh and persistent.

An elegant, fruity and structured Pauillac, perfectly suited to red meats, lamb, grilled dishes, game and mature cheeses.

Château Lynch-Bages – Pauillac

Located in Pauillac, in the heart of the Médoc, Château Lynch-Bages is one of Bordeaux’s most renowned estates. Classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Classification, it benefits from an exceptional terroir composed mainly of gravel, ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.

The history of the estate dates back to the 18th century, when John Lynch, a member of an Irish family, acquired the property. The estate subsequently took the name Lynch-Bages. Since 1939, the Cazes family has been closely linked to its history and has played a key role in developing its international reputation.

The vineyard covers approximately 100 hectares, planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wines are renowned for their power, elegance, structure and remarkable ageing potential.

The estate combines tradition and innovation to produce wines that are deeply representative of Pauillac, characterised by their complexity, freshness and great precision.
