Mas Codina Brut Reserva is a Cava of character, born in the Alt Penedès from an estate rooted in 1681. This brut blend (Macabeo, Xarel lo, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir) seduces with its luminous color, refined notes of white flowers and green apple, delicate minerality, and invigorating acidity. With more than two years of aging on lees, it reveals a delicate elegance and harmony. A refined choice to savor as an aperitif or with refined dishes — a true accessible and demanding pleasure.

Mas Codina Brut Nature Reserva is a cava from the D.O. It is a blend of Xarel lo, Macabeo, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.

The grapes for Mas Codina Brut Nature Reserva come from Alt Penedès vines, aged between 20 and 40 years, grown on primarily calcareous soils.

The harvest is manual. In the cellar, the must is extracted using pneumatic pressing at a pressure of less than 0.2 bar.

The grapes for Mas Codina Brut Nature Reserva then undergo alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for 20 days at 17ºC in stainless steel tanks.

After the must rests with its lees over the winter, Mas Codina Brut Nature Reserva undergoes a second alcoholic fermentation process, accompanied by selected yeasts.

Finally, before being bottled, Mas Codina Brut Nature Reserva rests for at least 26 months in a cellar at 16ºC.

Although Mas Codina wasn’t founded until 1985, the current winery was built in 1681. Since then, all the estate’s managers have been dedicated to cultivating vines. Mas Codina is a family-run micro-wine shop, frozen in the hills of Alt Penedès since 1681 and now run by the 4th generation of the Garriga family. Spread across 40 hectares of century-old organic vines, the estate enhances a unique clay-limestone terroir, blessed with a balanced microclimate. Each grape is sourced strictly from the estate’s own plots—a guarantee of authenticity and care—bottled since 1985 in the grand Catalan tradition. Careful, precise, elegant: Mas Codina cavas are among the benchmarks, with finesse and consistency.
