A more refined white from Rueda, gaining in complexity without losing its freshness. Rich aromatic bouquet: candied citrus, white flowers, and a slight mineral note. The palate reveals a beautiful breadth, with ripe acidity and an elegant texture. The oak is discreet and well-integrated, allowing the terroir to express itself. Telmo Rodríguez is considered one of the most influential and respected winemakers in Spain. Originally from the Basque Country, he trained at the Bordeaux Institute of Oenology, then with renowned winemakers such as Cos d’Estournel, Jean-Louis Chave, and Domaine de Trévallon. Returning to Spain, he began producing wines for the Remelluri family estate in Rioja before founding his own winery in 1994 with a clear vision: to revive the often-overlooked great Spanish terroirs.

Instead of following the industrial route, Telmo chooses to work with native grape varieties (such as Verdejo, Mencia, Garnacha, Godello, and Moscatel) and old vines cultivated using traditional goblet-trained methods. He rejects trellis-trained plantings and favors living soils, often cultivated organically or biodynamically, without claiming this as a marketing tool. What matters above all is the balance, freshness, and sincerity of the wine.

Today, he produces in more than ten regions, from Galicia to Andalusia: Rueda, Valdeorras, Ribera del Duero, Málaga, Alicante, Cebreros, and Castilla y León. Each wine reflects the identity of a place, a climate, and a grape variety—always in a pure, precise style deeply rooted in the local culture. The vintages range from accessible and easy-drinking bottles to truly great wines for aging, all marked by great precision.
