Château Grand Pey Lescours, located on the gravelly and sandy-clay soils of Saint-Émilion, produces a wine dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The warm and generous 2022 vintage offered remarkable grape maturity while retaining freshness. Produced through meticulous viticulture, this Grand Cru is distinguished by its balance, precision, and authentic expression of the terroir.

The color is deep ruby. The nose reveals aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry, enhanced by delicate woody notes and spices. Château Grand Pey Lescours is a wine estate located at the foot of the Saint-Émilion hillsides, in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. The vineyard covers approximately 25 hectares, with a dominant Merlot (70%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). The vines, averaging 43 years old, are cultivated on gravelly and sandy soils, ideal for the expression of fine grape varieties.

The estate favors an organic approach, with environmentally friendly practices and careful vinification. Harvests are carried out by hand, followed by rigorous sorting of the grapes. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled concrete vats, allowing precise control of fermentation. Aging lasts between 20 and 22 months, in vats or barrels, depending on the vintage.
