The Mas de Daumas Gassac « Late Release » Blanc 2013 is a rare and exclusive cuvée, released only after several years of bottle ageing. A true benchmark of the Languedoc, Daumas Gassac demonstrates here its ability to produce great white wines with exceptional ageing potential, combining complexity, freshness and elegance.
The 2013 vintage now reveals beautiful maturity while retaining remarkable freshness. The nose opens with aromas of ripe white fruit, candied citrus, white flowers and honey, complemented by more evolved notes of beeswax, almond and dried fruit.
On the palate, the wine is full, precise and perfectly balanced, with beautiful tension and a silky texture. Bottle ageing brings considerable aromatic complexity without weighing down the wine. The finish is long, fresh and persistent, with an elegant mineral and saline touch.
This Late Release, aged for several years before being released onto the market, offers a particularly compelling experience for lovers of mature, age-worthy white wines.
A characterful and collectible white wine, where maturity, freshness and complexity come together in remarkable balance.
World-renowned for its fine wines (Mas de Daumas Gassac Red, White, and Rosé Frizant), Mas de Daumas Gassac is a family estate that has belonged to the Guibert family for over 40 years. It is located in a wild valley near Aniane.
