Since 1832, traditions have not been lost. In winter, the stills bring a comforting flame that warms the heart. And under the beams blackened by centuries of evaporation, the long maturation process takes place.

The successive cellar masters have remained, ensuring the continuity of this traditional expertise. They carefully select the finest productions from Bas-Armagnac and master the methods of distillation, aging, and maturation.

Maison Castarède allows its Armagnacs to age longer than required by law, resulting in an Armagnac of rare finesse.

For over 180 years, first in the cellars of Pont de Bordes on the banks of the Baïse, and later at the Bas-Armagnac estate, Château de Maniban, the Castarède family has lovingly preserved a unique savoir-faire in the service of Armagnac.

Their commitment and passion for Armagnac have remained intact, and the “water of immortality” has preserved the enthusiasm of their eternal youth.

Cuvée Presentation:

Aged in oak barrels, it reveals notes of light and dry prune, very refined, well-balanced. The alcohol is delicate, allowing its terroir to shine through with elegance, with a hint of Cognac… A surprising and atypical vintage in the collection!
