Denis Dubourdieu has worked extensively on the aroma of red wines, favoring their pure expression rather than their power. Château Reynon’s reds, from 18 hectares in production, are a perfect illustration of this: dominated by Merlot (70%), with a notable proportion of Petit Verdot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon, these wines develop fine aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and spices, with a smoky touch and plenty of freshness.
