The estate

This Graves Grand Cru Classé boasts an exceptional location, with a vineyard superbly situated on a gravelly hilltop. Equipped with state-of-the-art technical facilities, Château Malartic-Lagravière radiates throughout the appellation with white and red wines that stand out among the finest Pessac-Léognan crus.
The vineyard
The château’s 73 hectares of vineyards stretch across the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Château Malartic-Lagravière Blanc is made from 9 hectares planted with white grapes grown on dry, clayey gravel on shell limestone sub-soils. The vineyard has been managed using sustainable agriculture and certified High Environmental Value since 2015.
Vinification and ageing
Hand-harvested by successive selections. Slow pressing and fermentation in barrels. Aged on lees with stirring in 55% new French oak barrels. Aged for 12 to 14 months.
