From the very first nose, the prestigious terroir reveals itself with elegance. This cuvée, made exclusively from vines grown on the plateau, unfurls a refined bouquet of flowers and truffles, with subtlety and precision. On the palate, the ageing process is still perceptible, adding a slightly sweet, woody touch. However, the quality of the terroir dominates, delivering a fresh, saline sensation that promises great ageing potential.
Château Petit Village is a 10.5-hectare estate located on the Pomerol plateau, a superb terroir of gravel and clay on a subsoil of iron dross. Owned by the Axa Millésimes group, the estate has been run by Christian Seely, with the advice of Stéphane Derenoncourt since the 2006 vintage. The vat room and cellars have been extensively renovated.
