Originating from the prestigious terroir of Pessac-Léognan, Comte de Malartic 2022 expresses all the elegance and finesse that define the wines of the estate. This second wine stands out for its generous bouquet of ripe black fruits, enhanced by delicate spicy notes and a subtle hint of toast.

On the palate, the attack is smooth and harmonious, supported by fresh acidity and silky tannins. The balance between fruit, structure, and length makes this wine approachable today while still offering excellent ageing potential.

The Estate – Comte de Malartic

Comte de Malartic is the second wine of the prestigious Château Malartic-Lagravière, an iconic estate in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Located on the outskirts of Bordeaux, the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir made up of deep gravel soils, particularly well-suited to producing elegant and refined wines.

Acquired in 1997 by the Bonnie family, Château Malartic-Lagravière has undergone significant investments aimed at enhancing the expression of its terroir while preserving its historical identity. The vineyard is managed with great care, with a strong focus on environmental respect and precise parcel-by-parcel work.

Comte de Malartic embodies the spirit of the estate through an approachable and generous style, while retaining the elegance, freshness, and refinement that have made Malartic-Lagravière wines so renowned.
