Located in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, in the commune of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, Château Martet is a family-owned estate that has established itself in recent years as one of the most dynamic properties on Bordeaux’s Right Bank. Acquired and modernized by the De Coninck family, the estate has undergone a true renaissance thanks to significant investments in both the vineyard and the winemaking facilities.
The vineyard extends across clay-limestone hillsides with excellent exposure. This particularly high-quality terroir promotes optimal grape ripening while preserving freshness and balance. The plantings are dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing the production of generous, elegant, and expressive wines.
The estate’s philosophy is based on rigorous, terroir-driven viticulture combined with modern winemaking techniques designed to reveal the full richness of the fruit. Controlled yields and meticulous parcel selection contribute to wines of remarkable precision and consistency.
Renowned for its outstanding value for money, Château Martet produces wines that seduce with their aromatic intensity, silky texture, and accessibility in their youth, while also offering excellent ageing potential. Each cuvée reflects the estate’s ambition: to craft authentic and elegant wines that faithfully express the identity of their Bordeaux terroir.
