A Deuxième Grand Cru Classé de Sauternes, Château Doisy-Daëne is one of the appellation’s emblematic estates. Located in Barsac, the estate benefits from a terroir particularly well suited to the development of noble rot, allowing it to produce exceptionally refined sweet wines.

The 2020 vintage is distinguished by its balance between richness and freshness. On the nose, it reveals aromas of exotic fruit, candied citrus, honey and flowers. On the palate, the texture is rich and velvety, supported by a beautiful freshness that brings precision and length.

CHÂTEAU DOISY-DAËNE

Located in Barsac, in the heart of the Sauternes appellation, Château Doisy-Daëne is a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé de Sauternes. The estate has been owned by the Dubourdieu family since 1924 and has established itself as a reference for the great sweet wines of Bordeaux.

Its vineyards benefit from a terroir of clay-rich gravel and limestone soils, particularly well suited to the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). This combination produces wines that are rich and complex, while retaining remarkable freshness.

Under the guidance of the Dubourdieu family, Château Doisy-Daëne places precision and balance at the heart of its approach, creating elegant and aromatic Sauternes with excellent ageing potential.
