Located in the heart of the prestigious Pomerol appellation, Château Feytit-Clinet has established itself over the years as one of the most remarkable estates in the region. Thanks to the meticulous work of the Chasseuil family and a constant pursuit of excellence, the estate now produces wines renowned for their depth, elegance, and outstanding expression of terroir.
The vineyard is planted on Pomerol’s famous gravel and clay soils, particularly well suited to Merlot, the flagship grape variety of the appellation. Complemented by Cabernet Franc, the blend gives rise to wines that are concentrated, refined, and endowed with remarkable aromatic complexity.
The 2021 vintage expresses the estate’s identity with great finesse. The bouquet reveals notes of blackberry, black cherry, fresh plum, and violet, accompanied by hints of cocoa, liquorice, and delicate spices. On the palate, the wine impresses with its velvety texture, remarkable balance, and precise tannin structure. The long and harmonious finish reflects the nobility of Pomerol’s finest terroirs.
Elegant, precise, and endowed with excellent ageing potential, Château Feytit-Clinet 2021 perfectly illustrates the style of the great wines of Pomerol, where richness of fruit, freshness, and refinement come together in perfect harmony.

Château Feytit-Clinet is one of the most renowned estates in the Pomerol appellation. Located in the heart of the plateau and on some of the finest terroirs of the appellation, the estate benefits from an exceptional environment that allows it to produce wines celebrated for their concentration, elegance, and remarkable ageing potential.
The history of the château is closely linked to that of Pomerol’s great winegrowing families. Since the early 2000s, the property has been managed by the Chasseuil family, who have undertaken a major restructuring of the vineyard and a modernization of the winemaking facilities. Through a demanding approach and a constant focus on quality, Château Feytit-Clinet has gradually established itself as one of the benchmark estates of the appellation.
The vineyard covers approximately 6.5 hectares spread across several carefully selected plots. The vines are planted on soils composed of gravel, clay, and sand, resting on iron-rich subsoils known as crasse de fer, a hallmark of Pomerol’s finest terroirs. This unique environment encourages a particularly refined expression of Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc.
Vineyard management is based on rigorous practices, controlled yields, and meticulous grape selection. Vinification is carried out with great precision to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir. Ageing in oak barrels enhances the wines’ complexity and elegance without overshadowing their identity.
Renowned for a style that combines power and refinement, Château Feytit-Clinet produces deep, velvety, and complex wines capable of evolving gracefully over many years. Each vintage reflects the excellence of an estate where passion, expertise, and respect for the terroir come together to express the full greatness of Pomerol.
